Welcome to Flowodo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flowodo application and website. By using Flowodo, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flowodo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Flowodo.

2. Description of Service

Flowodo is a mind mapping application that allows you to:

• Create and edit visual mind maps
• Use AI to generate mind map structures
• Store mind maps in the cloud (with an account)
• Share mind maps with others
• Export mind maps as images or PDFs

3. Accounts

Registration

You can use Flowodo without an account (free tier). To access cloud storage and Pro features, you must sign in with your Google account.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use Google Sign-In, so your password security is managed by Google.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

4. Subscription & Payments

Free Tier

• Available without payment or registration
• Includes unlimited local mind maps
• Requires your own Gemini API key for AI features
• Does not include cloud storage

Pro Subscription

• Billed monthly (€1.90/month) or yearly (€19/year)
• Payment processed securely via Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings

Refunds

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase if you're not satisfied.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Flowodo to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the service
• Use automated systems to access the service (bots, scrapers)
• Share content that is abusive, harassing, or threatening

6. Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all mind maps and content you create. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

License to Us

By using cloud storage, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service.

Shared Content

When you share a map publicly:

• Anyone with the link can view (or edit, if you enable it)
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to share the content
• You can revoke sharing at any time by deleting the map

7. Intellectual Property

Flowodo, including our logo, design, and code, is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our intellectual property without permission.

8. API Keys (Free Tier)

If you use your own Gemini API key:

• You are responsible for your API key's security and usage
• Usage is subject to Google's terms and quotas
• We are not responsible for charges incurred on your API key

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Flowodo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss — please keep local backups of important maps

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of Flowodo or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable EU regulations.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
